At Maersk Tankers, our fleet of fully and semi-refrigerated gas carriers offers a comprehensive set of flexible solutions for transporting liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), ammonia and petrochemical gasses.

With our fleet employed in a mix of time charters (TC), contracts of affreightment (COAs) and the worldwide spot market, we operate only modern, high-quality tonnage and make safety and environmental concerns a top priority.

We operate in three gas segments:

Very Large Gas Carriers (VLGC)
We currently control a fleet of 11 vessels trading in the Maersk Tankers /Transpetrol Maritime Services/Zodiac Maritime Agencies Ltd. pool. By 2011, the pool will manage 16 modern VLGCs.

Midsize Gas Carriers
In the midsize segment, we operate four vessels trading in the Maersk Tankers/Zodiac Mid-size Pool. These vessels are used for LPG and ammonia transport.

Handysize Gas Carriers
Our Handysize fleet consists of nine vessels, with six additional vessels on order. These vessels are used for transporting petroleum gas, ammonia and petrochemical gas.
