Our Gas Fleet

Maersk Tankers Gas owns and operates a modern fleet of handy-, medium- and very large gas carriers carrying Liquified Petroleum Gasses, petrochemical gasses and ammonia.

Very Large Gas Carriers (VLGC)

Maersk Tankers today control a fleet of 12 vessels trading in the Maersk Tankers VLGC Pool. The pool will manage 16 modern VLGC's by 2011. The VLGC’s transport lpg.

Midsize Gas Carriers

In the midsize segment, Maersk Tankers is active with 4 vessels trading in the Maersk Tankers-Zodiac Mid-size Pool. The vessels are used for lpg and Ammonia transport.

Handysize Gas Carriers

The Handysize fleet consists of 9 vessels and 6 more are on order. The Handysize vessels carry lpg, ammonia and petrochemical gasses.

CO2 Carriers

We are planning to build CO2 carriers to transport CO2 from power companies to underground storage reducing CO2 emissions.
