For 48 hours, 60 participants, among them students, freelancers and tech start-ups worked intensively on identifying digital solutions in the areas of vessel fuel procurement, vessel maintenance and voyage prediction. The event has brought forward many ideas for how to further advance digitisation as part of Maersk Tankers Strategy.

Mentors and jury were equally impressed by what was presented to them on the last day. “The event was a perfect example depicting how through teamwork and collaboration simple ideas can deliver greater results whilst having fun,” says Santosh Khosla, Manager of Fleet Services, who mentored for two challenges related to crew planning and predictive maintenance.
